Resurrected from the closure of Oddbins Kelvinbridge this is a wonderful wineshop. Stacked floor to ceiling with gems from around the world this is the type of place to browse for hours, chat to the extremely knowledgeable staff who will help you immensely, listen to the excellent tunes and then leave with a smile on your face and your arms weighted down as you contemplate filling the rack with the beauties you've just bought.

Wonderful fresh fish and seafood daily as well as a great selection of Solway wildfowl (mallard, teal, wigeon) and other furred and feathered game (venison, rabbit, pigeon etc)

Amazing Italian deli/bistro/coffee shop/takeaway/home delivery service/ caterers. You ask them, they'll probably do it! Very good selection of Italian cheeses (their dolcelatte is simply wonderful), antipasti, cured meats and fresh breads. Also excellent range of oils, vinegars, wines and pastas. Really vibrant local Italian hub.
Naked Wines, online wine shop
I discovered Naked Wines mid-2010 and instantly became an 'Angel'. Wonderful array of wines from independent winemakers who are funded by the 'Naked Angels' and get very good wines at very good prices in return. Can't say enough about these guys, great value, great service and you get a real feelgood factor because you help talented people who need the support. Read some reviews here of what's available.

Tapa Organic, Glasgow
Wonderful supplier of coffee and bread as well as some fair trade items. The bread is produced and sold in Dennistoun and the coffee hand roasted in the coffee house on Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow's southside. The coffee house does wonderful meals too for breakfast and lunch. The Herald called it the best coffee in the city by a mile. Hard to argue.

The Fish People, Glasgow
Located on Scotland Street right beside Shields Road Underground this little gem is a haven for sustainable fish and seafood. Market fresh daily you'll find most things you could look for and a few that you probably haven't heard of. Also to cured fish plus some poultry and game. Have been supplying Gamba since they opened so probably tells you enough about the quality.
